Is my research data secure?
Yes. All traffic is encrypted, sign-in can be protected with two-factor authentication, sensitive fields can be encrypted in the database, and every view, edit and export is written to an audit trail that the project owner can review.
Security & ethics
Do I need to know statistics software?
No. Choose your variables and the platform suggests the appropriate test, checks the assumptions and explains the result in plain language. You can still export to SPSS, Stata or R at any time.
Analysis
How do participants give consent?
You can switch on informed consent for a project. Participants read your consent text and must agree before the form opens, and the consent is stored with their record.

Which formats can I export?
Download your dataset for SPSS, Stata, R, Excel or CSV, with variable and value labels included. You can leave out identifying fields when you share a dataset.
Analysis
Who can see the data I collect?
Only the members of your project, and each person sees only what their role allows. Fields you mark as personal can be encrypted and left out of exports, so you can share a de-identified dataset.

Can participants answer without an account?
Yes. Share a public link or QR code and anyone can fill in the form. You can also make a form private so that only signed-in team members can enter data.

Can I add skip logic and validation?
Yes. Show or hide questions based on earlier answers, set required fields, minimum and maximum values and unique fields, and let calculated fields fill themselves in while data is entered.

Can I make charts for my report?
Yes. Build bar, line, box, histogram, scatter and other charts, style them, save them to the project and export them as images. Reports can also be scheduled to arrive in your inbox.

Can I assign forms to specific collectors?
Yes. Choose which forms each data collector can see, so field staff only get the forms meant for them. You can change assignments at any time from the Team page.

Can I collect data without internet?
Yes. Forms work offline in the browser on phones, tablets and laptops. Answers are stored safely on the device and are sent automatically as soon as a connection is available.

Can I bring in data I already have?
Yes. Import records from Excel or CSV. Columns are matched to your variables and checked before anything is saved, with a dry run so you can review the result first.

Can my whole team work on one project?
Yes. Invite members by email and give each a role. Data collectors can be limited to entering data, and viewers can read results without changing anything.

How do I keep my account safe?
Turn on two-factor sign-in with an authenticator app and keep your recovery codes somewhere safe. API tokens are personal: each token belongs to one user and only reaches that user’s own records.
